Letter to My Son - 5 Months

Dear Cole,

You are 5 months old already! Time continues to fly by, and you change and grow more and more each day.

I'll admit, buddy, you and I did not exactly see eye to eye this past month. When you were growing in my belly, I couldn't wait to meet you, and assumed that motherhood would come naturally to me... that I would automatically know exactly how to soothe you, to take care of you, and to give you everything you need. I was wrong! I loved you from the second you came to be, but being a mommy is a learning process. I learn something new every single day. Be patient with me, buddy. I may not get everything right on the first try, but I promise to do my best to take the very best care of you.

I love you so much, sweet boy. I can't wait to see what month 6 brings!
