Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

We took it easy on Cole this year and spared torturing him with a costume. He kept it simple as a skeleton.

Mom and Cole went to a Halloween party with a local playgroup on Tuesday. Cole divided his time between blank stares at the other kids, spitting up, and whimpering. We need to get this kid out more!

Friday Cole went back to the pediatrician for his 4 month check up. He weighed in at 15 pounds, 3 ounces (53rd percentile), measured 25.5 inches in height (69th percentile), and his head measured 16.77 inches (55th percentile). He was a good sport about his vaccines, although Mom cried while watching this time.

We got the results of his food allergy testing back, and to our surprise he is not allergic to milk. The test did show potential allergies to egg whites and peanuts (peanuts was a big surprise as Mom gave up peanuts and all nuts during her pregnancy to help avoid that). We're told that it is possible for false positives, so we are crossing our fingers.

SO, it's unclear what's making our little guy uncomfortable with his meals. Our next step will likely be to meet with a pediatric gastroenterologist to confirm the reflux diagnosis.

We had a surprisingly quiet Halloween. We stocked up on LOTS of candy, and were even concerned that we might run out. Our neighborhood is filled with kids, but we ended up only getting a few groups. We have an obscene amount of leftovers, and will need to hide them from ourselves!

Cole did have a pretty good time exploring the candy dish. Like Mother & Father, Like Son!
