Thanksgiving and Early Christmas in Lake Geneva

We left Thanksgiving morning to fly to Milwaukee for Thanksgiving and an early Christmas in Lake Geneva with Nana & Papa Jackson.

Cole was quite the trooper on the flight. He had a bottle with Dad before we left, took a snooze for part of the flight, and woke up ready to play.

When we got there, Uncle Steve started to teach Cole about golf, starting with some putting lessons. It's never too early!

After a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, the dominoes we brought out. Aunt Amy came out victorious this time.

Cole is Great Grandma Eleanor's 16th great-grandchild. Number 17, Ben, was born in September!

Cole was fascinated by all of the new people, and loved watching his cousins, Robyn, Hailey, and Nathan play. We know that next year Cole and Nathan are going to be quite the team.

We celebrated an early Christmas on Friday. Cole's very first Christmas present came from Aunt Amy, Uncle Scott, Robyn, Hailey, and Nathan.

Cole didn't quite know what to make about all of the wrapping paper, noises, and fun, but had a good time playing with his new giraffe with Papa & Dad after presents were opened.

He also decided to show off for everyone by deciding it was time to start rolling again. He rolled from his tummy to back several times while we were visiting, and started rolling from his back to tummy the day we got home.

Friday night, Cole and Taylor helped out in the kitchen.

Throughout the holiday, Cole's dog-aunt Majbrit, Watch-Dog Extraordinaire, helped keep an eye on everyone. She's always quite the hostess!

One of the highlights of the weekend happened after Uncle Steve complimented Cole on what a good looking boy he is... we all paused to smile at our little guy, and Cole chose to mark the occasion with a huge belch. What a gentleman!

Thanks for all of your hard work, Nana & Papa! It was great to see everyone!
