Cole's reflux has been flaring up a bit, so we had to go back to the doctor yesterday. It was COLD outside, so Mr. Cheeks needed to be bundled up. Aunt Sue sent Cole some cold weather clothes and a cute puffer vest. It was Mom's perfect opportunity to dress him in them!
All went well until the vest went on. It went something like this:
High pitched scream. "The zipper touched my face!!! Meanest Mommy ever!"
At which point, Mom went to get the camera.
Mom: "Come on, buddy. Give me a smile."
Cole: "Oh hi, Mom. Just one."
We compromised. No vest to be worn yesterday, but the hat with bear ears was a must.
Cole weighed in at 16 pounds, 15 ounces yesterday. Per usual, the nurses commented on his cheeks. One also got a good chuckle out of his blank stare. He was not a good sport at the doctor, and screamed and whined the whole visit. A med student was shadowing our doctor for the day, and was quite impressed with Cole's lungs.
His reflux is likely flaring up due to the fact that he's moving around and using his core more than before. The result is a lot of sloshing around in that tummy! His medications have been increased, so hopefully that'll do the trick!
