You are 6 months old already! Time continues to fly by. You really are growing into your own little person.
This past month has brought a lot of firsts for you - first road trip in the car, first time eating real food, first snow, first time sitting up on your own. I brought you to your first music class this month as well. The theme of that week's class was Disco. Your dear old mom sang "Carwash", "Macho Man", and "Funky Town" all while you cried and started blankly at the teacher. You did seem to like it, though, when we got out the bells and sang your favorite song, "Jingle Bells." It was an embarrassing, but in the end, fun experience.
I can't quite figure you out, Buddy. You make me work HARD for every single smile, and I'll admit, that really frustrates me a lot of the time. I wonder what you're thinking. Do you think I'm funny? Do you like the activities we do? Does your tummy hurt? You definitely let us know when you're tired, hungry, or just plain mad, though. We try our hardest to tickle those smiles and giggles out of you, but you just won't budge.
You did find your voice a little, though, and that makes me very happy. I love hearing your little yells and shouts. Keep 'em coming!
I love you very much, 6 month old boy. Looking forward to month 7, and patiently waiting for those smiles to come a little easier.
Love,
Mom
