Letter to My Son - One Month

Dear Cole,

This month has gone by so quickly! I can't believe it has already been a month since you were born. 

You've already changed so much since we brought you home.  You're more aware of us now.  You like it when we read to you, and you hate when Ralphie gives you kisses with a wet beard.  

You continue to be a stubborn little man proving you are your Mom AND your dad's son. 

You hate to be woken up or bothered during sleep, just like your dad.  :)

I'm anxiously awaiting that first smile, buddy. Whenever you're ready!

It was hard at first to understand all of your noises and cries, but I think we're getting better. 

I'm sleep deprived and drinking way more caffeine than normal, but in the end, I don't mind.  Those early morning snuggles make it worth it. 

Thanks for making me a Mom, Cole.  I can't wait to see what month number 2 brings!
