Being a Newborn is Hard Work

It's been a busy and tiring week at the Jackson house. 

Cole continues to show us that HE'S the one running the show around here.  

He's also let us know that he's really not interested in morning naps.  Those are for babies.  He wants to be up and moving.  As a result, Mom and Dad have turned for help. 

The Stroller

Success... for all of 10 minutes. 

The Swing!  The success here was also short lived. 

The Baby Bjorn! This one worked a little better, and allowed Mom to make Dad some Swedish pancakes on Sunday. 

The Miracle Blanket!  We've gone back to swaddling when Cole takes to madly swinging his arms and legs around. 

Here's Cole looking just as confused about how the Miracle Blanket works as Mom was. 

Cole spent some time with Dad this weekend working on some tummy time. 

He did manage to pick up his head and turn it around.  

Finally, some sleep (on a blanket made by Cole's Great Aunt Martha).  

Meanwhile, Ralphie wonders when she'll be able to go for walks with Mom & Cole (soon, hopefully!), and secretly wishes for her old life back.
