Our big boy is one month old today!
He went to the pediatrician yesterday and hated EVERY minute of the exam. Mom & Dad had to shout over his screams to ask the doctor questions. Cole continued to be an angry little man the rest of the afternoon to get back at Mom & Dad for that terrible visit to the doctor.
Cole's a healthy guy, weighing in at 10 pounds, 5 ounces, and aside from some reflux, he's doing great.
Biggest lessons learned in the first month of parenthood:
Never assume your little boy is done going to the bathroom. Cover up "parts" when exposed to air (or water, if necessary). Make sure parts are pointed AWAY from face (your face and child's face).
There's no reasoning with a newborn. Trying to understand why an overtired baby will choose to cry instead of sleep will only make Mom & Dad go crazy.
Here are some pics from a morning photo shoot:
"I'll get you for this, Mom!!!!!"
