Things have been relatively quiet around the house this week. Cheeks had speech therapy on Tuesday, and was a pretty good sport. He's still the silent type most of the time, but he tries. We attempted to get him to try some roasted chicken breast, but that was shot down. He at least gave it a touch and a lick, so we'll take that for the week.
We now head over to our local Easter Seals for his occupational therapy. He LOVES it. His therapist has all kinds of swings, slides, tunnels, and toys with which he can play. She also sings to him, which makes him love the experience even more.
He still loves his stuffed animals and sleeps with 2 or 3 at naptime. Dogs ("dogga!") and Bears ("grrrr!") are his favorites so far.
We are going to a zoo animals themed class on Friday mornings. Cole must not be getting enough attention from his grandparents (we kid), because he has adopted someone else's grandma as his own. Today he sat in her lap for almost the entire class, and would shake his head "no" whenever Mom asked him to come back to play with her.
He's decided that he no longer likes celery, cauliflower or carrots, but gave butternut squash "fries" a try today (with lots of praise and high-fives).
Other than that, he's a man on the move! Counting the days until spring when we can get outside to play!
