Early Intervention Playdate

Each month our Early Intervention program puts together a play date for kids in the program. They bring in lots of toys, ramps, and ride-on trucks and cars. They partner with the Northeast DuPage Special Recreation Association to bring in live animals for the kids to touch. Today they brought in a chinchilla, gerbil, lizard, and turtle.

Cole LOVED seeing and petting the live animals. For the most part, he was really gentle, but tried to pick up the gerbil and lizard each by the head a couple times. The lizard was his least favorite.

In usual Cheeks fashion, he flirted with the other moms, waved and showed off for the dads, and completely ignored the other kids.

Terrible pictures today. Cheeks refused to smile for the camera. He would shake his head "no" and say his nervous "mama, mama, mama!". Better luck next time!
