Letter to My Son - 11 Months

Dear Cole,

This has been a tough month, Buddy. You became quite the little puzzle for us to solve. I will admit, again, that I got frustrated and sad, but only because I'm your mommy. As your mommy, I want you to be happy, content, comfortable, and stress-free. Seeing you sad during mealtimes has been heartbreaking. Those huge crocodile tears of yours get me every time. I think we're making progress, though. We've got a great therapist, and your dad and I are dedicated to getting you to be a happy little eater.

It's been a fun month, too. You're quite the giggler these days. After all those months of waiting to hear you laugh, I can't get enough of that little giggle.
You're also much more mobile. You love to crawl-run, chase after Ralphie, and follow us from room to room.

I can't believe you're already almost a year old. It seems like just yesterday we were bringing you home. You're growing so fast, sometimes I want to freeze you just as you are right now.

BUT, I'm excited for what's to come. I'm looking forward to learning more about the little boy you're becoming. I love you so much, sweet boy.

Happy 11 months!

Love,

Mom
