Letter to My Son - 18 Months

Dear Cole,

You are 18 months old today! You are such a happy little guy these days. Your dad and I love watching you play and explore the world around you.

You are in a bit of a Mama phase right now. You don't always want to follow me everywhere, but you like to know exactly where I am and that it isn't too far away. You are often under my feet, repeating "Mama" over and over again. Sometimes it gets a little frustrating, but hearing you call me "Mama" is the sweetest sound I've ever heard.

You "talk" constantly and love to comment on new things you see. I love hearing your "observations" on the world around you. Everything is new and fresh to you, and it's pretty amazing to watch you take it all in.

I think that you and I are on our second honeymoon now, making up for the rough start we had. I just love you to pieces, Big Boy. You make me proud everyday, and I feel so lucky to be your Mama.

Happy 18 months, Cole. I can't wait to see what the next months bring!
