Morning at the Park

Ralphie has a lot of energy lately, so we decided to take her to the park this morning to wear her out. Since Cole is walking well now, this was also a good opportunity to let him do his own exploring.

Cole got to test our his new sneakers. He was a little unsure and unsteady at first, but quickly got the hang of it.

When we got to the park, Cole was not at all interested in the equipment. He only wanted to pick up bark and grass, show them to Mom, and then put them into his mouth. Oh well.

In other news, Cole had speech therapy today and successfully drank 2 ounces of formula using a straw. This is great progress, and will help strengthen those big 'ol cheeks, lips, and tongue. Great job, Big Boy!!
