Ty is 6 months old! He weighed in yesterday at 21 pounds, 14 ounces (98th percentile), and measured at 29.5 inches (100th percentile. Wow! Definitely a Jackson man!).
He continues to be a happy and smily little guy, although a bit more fussy this month. Developmentally, Ty is starting to understand distance, over, under, up, down, etc. Along with that comes the understanding that Mommy and Daddy can leave him. He doesn't like this very much, and wants to be held constantly. Cole has been a big helper, and helps Mom and Dad keep Ty happy and entertained.
Milestones this month: More rolling, sitting up for a few seconds without assistance, turning the pages in a book, and giving kisses (Mom's favorite, although they're pretty sloppy!). Teeth #3 and 4 are popping through, and teeth #5 and 6 are getting ready.
Sleep: He is still waking 1-2 times per night. He has had some longer stretches of sleep, though, so we are thankful!
Eating: Still likes to eat (obviously!). Ty has been given the green light to start solid foods.
We just love our chunk, and we're so thankful to have him.
Love you, Ty! Can't wait to see what next month brings!
