We have been keeping busy this winter, trying to staying warm, and longing for spring's arrival. Cole loved all of the snow we had, though.
Here he is with his first snowball of the season. Happy boy!
This winter brought ice skating lessons for Cole, and he moved on to hockey shortly thereafter.
Blackhawks fan!
This Christmas included Cole's first gingerbread house. He took decorating (and sampling the decorations) very seriously.
We've taken advantage of the few warm days we've had to head to the park, walk with Ralphie, and take bike rides.
Daddy has been playing hockey on Saturday nights, and Cole and Mom had fun watching a game.
A recent trip to the children's museum.
Getting much more adventurous!
Cole has gotten very good at his writing this year, and loves to write letters and make signs.
He still loves the merry-go-round!

Cole recently outgrew his egg allergy, so we were able to dye Easter eggs for the first time this year.
Cole and Ralphie continue to be best buddies. She misses him while he is at school, and greets him with a toy when he gets home.
We are also thrilled to share that Cole is going to be a big brother to a little boy due at the end of July.
Mom at 24 weeks. Baby boy, aka "Rover" (Cole named him), is much quieter than his big brother was in Mommy's belly, but getting busier as he gets bigger. He gets frequent hiccups, and protests if Mom tries to sleep any other way than on her left side. He seems to like frozen bananas, chocolate (chocolate covered frozen bananas are a bonus), strawberries, and oatmeal (Cole liked mint chocolate, cinnamon, and blueberries). We are excited to meet him!
Happy Spring!
