Tomte!

This year, instead of an Elf on a Shelf, we had a visit from a Swedish Tomte, and the Tomte are mischievous, and like to hide at night. Cole had fun looking for his Tomte in the morning (whenever Mom remembered to actually hide it). This year, he tended to hide in the same one or two places, but we're sure he'll get more creative once Cole gets older!
