Ralphie has been under the weather for a couple weeks, so we were back at the vet yesterday to get her checked out again. Cole stepped up right away to "help" out. Whenever Ralphie has a leash on these days, he INSISTS that he hold the leash, and Ralphie is really very patient with him. He's been knocked down a couple times by an excited Ralph, but we're working on that.
Cole practiced telling Ralphie to "sit" yesterday (in Cole-speak that came out as "heh"), and gave her a full body cuddle before she went off to get an xray.
The vet, clearly an animal person and NOT a kid person, was not impressed, but the ladies at the office gave Cole LOTS of smiles, waves, and praise.

Note: Cole was willing to take his coat off, and offered to remove his shoes as well, but refused to take off his hat.
