Letter to My Son - 4 Months

Dear Cole,

You are 4 months old now, and I can't believe how much you've changed in the past month. You rolled over, discovered your hands, and slept through then night (I THANK YOU for the sleep). 

You've been such a brave boy over the past few months.  I know that it hasn't been easy for you going in and out of the doctor's office, but you seem to do it with a smile on your face (unless you've missed your nap or are getting shots).  I'm so proud of you, buddy.  We don't have you completely comfortable just yet (you are quite the enigma), but we're working on it.  

You have brought such joy into my life.  Seeing your smile when you wake up for the day or from your naps is like opening a present.  What a great feeling!

I love our "chit-chats" we have every day, and often wonder what they'll be like once you can start to talk. 

I love you so, so much, sweet boy.  Thanks again for making me a mommy, and I can't wait to see what month 5 brings!
